Determining the price of a Stradivarius violin
Several elements are taken into account in determining the price of a Stradivarius violin. These elements are however difficult to apprehend.
Some people believe that they can recognize these violins by their labels, but this cannot be the only determining factor since many counterfeits exist.
Like the label thesis, several pseudo theories have been put forward in the context of their recognition.
Nevertheless, only an expert on the subject will be able to ensure its authenticity, its working order and the quality of sound it can produce.
